Grace is an Appalachia raised and trained herbalist with over two decades of herbal study and experience. As a lifelong learner, she began her professional herbal education and training in 2000, completing a 400hr certificate program in herbal medicine at the NC School of Natural Healing with herbalist Himani Ellis. Grace has studied and completed training with numerous experienced herbalists and midwives throughout the U.S. and Central America since.

Grace became a Registered Nurse in 2011 and has worked for 7 years in clinical practice in holistic + diverse medical settings. She currently works in personal practice offering herbal consultation and body work. Grace served as president and co-founder of the Indiana Chapter of the American Herbalists Guild from 2011-2014, is an Arvigo Therapy practitioner, Certified Advanced Holistic Doula through The Matrona, Certified Cupping therapist and Reiki practitioner. She is co-founder of the Heartland School of Herbal Studies and mom to three grown children. Grace and her family currently steward Moon Valley Farm where they grow food and medicinal herbs for their local community and internationally.

Grace offers herbal consultations, workshops, courses, and therapeutic bodywork at her farm-based apothecary and locally at Thrive Bloomington. She offers all of these modalities with respect to elders and teachers of each lineage and with a strong passion for holistic, evolutionary approaches to health…as well as nurturing plant/human relationship.
